The three-day Automotive Dealer Day 2019, Europe’s leading event for the automotive sector, concluded with almost 5,000 operators attending Veronafiere, a 10% increase compared to 2018. National dealers, car manufacturers, repair supply chain players and trade associations discussed the challenges of a constantly evolving sector, including new technologies, consumer trends, innovative services and business strategies.
Looking at the mobility of the future, car sharing and integrated mobility are reaffirmed as rapidly growing trends, but they do not diminish the car as a personal asset. 46% of Italians see themselves behind the wheel of their own car in the future — a vehicle that is increasingly technological, connected to personal devices and seamlessly integrated into people’s lifestyles, work and passions.
Ballsystem has emphasised the value of the customer journey and innovative models for assisting and repairing traffic damage, bridging the gap between the service chain and dealers with increasingly smart, integrated, and sustainable solutions that improve efficiency, speed and environmental friendliness.
“Innovation and digitalisation are changing the approach to the automotive world, which is increasingly becoming a true commodity,” said Antonello Fiorenza, General Manager of Ballsystem. “The evolution of consumption and car design demands that the service chain leap into the future, anticipating user needs and reinventing the customer experience with tailor-made, exclusive services.
Ballsystem began digitising its processes some time ago, from booking to car delivery, creating an integrated channel that guarantees dealers greater efficiency and profitability. For Ballsystem, being a valuable partner for dealers means supporting them in customer service management through a widespread network of One Stop Shops, a true proximity network that significantly reduces processing times and vehicle downtime while maintaining uniform service and high quality standards across the country.”
Ballsystem showcased a virtuous example of environmental responsibility at ADD 2019, at a time when transitioning to a sustainable supply chain is no longer optional, but a global duty. The development of a patented zero-emission method for repairing accident and hail damage without repainting is a model of both sustainability and productivity, drastically reducing processing times and operating costs while significantly increasing efficiency and profitability for supply chain participants.
The 18th edition will be held at Veronafiere from 19 to 21 May 2020
