The training was demanding and, even now, after finishing my regular work, I practise for 2-3 hours a day to improve, but it is well worth it.”

Another important partnership in the world of sports, a world particularly close to Ballsystem due to the affinity of values it shares with the company’s DNA.

This time it is not football or volleyball, but another type of “Ball”, staying true to the theme. It is Padel, an increasingly popular and ambitious sport on the local, national and international sporting scene.

Ballsystem has chosen to support the PADEL ARENA PERUGIA, a facility located in the Ponte San Giovanni area of Perugia, which boasts the highest standards of quality and technology on the Italian padel scene.

Court number 4, located at the centre, has been customised with the Ballsystem trademark, which will also become the court’s title and serve as the backdrop for the matches of the many enthusiasts who will compete on it. During the season, a sporting event organised by Ballsystem will also be held, all the details of which will be revealed shortly.

Present on behalf of Ballsystem at the inauguration of the centre were President and Founder Francesco Mottola, accompanied by Emanuele Mottola, Marketing Manager.

“Like everyone else, we have been swept up by this great passion for Padel, and many of our employees and collaborators are enthusiastic players. Method, training and manual skill are all elements that we have in common with this sport, which is why we felt the desire to show our support, above all in an area like Perugia, where our headquarters are located,” says Carlo Mottola, Technical Director and Director of the Ballsystem Academy.

The first issue of BS MAGAZINE, a periodical offering in-depth insight into the Ballsystem world and a window into the automotive and car repair industries, is now available online on the official Ballsystem platforms. This project was conceived by the company as a way to tell its story while also offering its perspective on the sector through a mix of different types of content and on a variety of topics.

The first issue, featuring a special editorial by Ballsystem President and Founder Francesco Mottola, explores a range of topics including the Academy, the network, through the testimonies of GreenPartner Italservice by Nico Tammaro and partner Ambra Service by Luca Gazzoli, the hailstorm situation in recent years, the national and international events in which Ballsystem has taken part, and the parallels between sports and business through the company’s main sponsorships.

“We felt that creating a Company Periodical was the best way to bring the company to life, allowing it to tell the story of its everyday activities. I have always believed that it is not difficult for a company to find ideas and content to tell its story, because there is much more to a company than just business. There’s people, passion, relationships, visions, victories and defeats. We want to share everything without wearing badges of honour, but simply as an opportunity to improve and to express opinions and perspectives. BS Magazine is the lens through which we observe the world around us. I would like offer my sincerely thanks to the entire company marketing department, our partner Studio Gusto, and above all our colleagues across all departments – what we like to call the Human Machine – for being the protagonists of our everyday lives. .” Emanuele Mottola, Marketing Manager at BALLSYSTEM.

Ballsystem is a leading company in the car repair sector. Its revolutionary approach and the method developed in-house at the company allow work to be carried out on cars with hail damage or showing signs of dents and scratches without affecting the paintwork (Paintless Dent Repair method). The factory warranty remains unaffected, and the repair costs are reduced thanks to highly skilled workmanship. Ballsystem has built a network of excellence throughout Italy, offering a completely new vision of the repair sector by placing craftsmanship, expertise, training and, last but not least, sustainability at the heart of its vision, thanks to its zero-emission method.

A comprehensive training session at the Ballsystem Academy has come to an end. Representatives from key companies within the network took part, including AUTOSERVICE LA RASPATA, MULTISERVICE CAR FUSTO and GRUPPO CASAL.

With the assistance of Andrea Giovanardi (the Ballsystem Network Manager), President Francesco Mottola did the honours on the opening day, engaging in a long discussion with participants in which he shared anecdotes, stories and perspectives drawn from over 50 years of experience in the repair sector: “You are not here merely to learn a repair method or to fix cars damaged by hail, but also, and above all, to share a perspective and a journey with us that we hope will bring us closer together for many years to come, with the aim of helping you and the businesses you represent grow, and consequently Ballsystem as well.

The participants, some of whom were attending their second week of training, carried out cold repairs (Paintless Dent Repair method) at the workshop using the Ballsystem method under the guidance of Flavio Iavarone (Head of Training at the Ballsystem Academy). On the second day, a particularly meaningful session was held in the presence of Nicola Ielpo (Head of B2B Customer Service & Partners) and Romualdo De Rosa (Head of B2C Customer Service), who addressed the topic of authority, focusing on damage estimation and customer management.

On the Thursday morning, partner company Rupes led the discussion, with Federico Giglietti (Technical Sales Manager at Rupes) providing participants with valuable insights into car polishing and the various polishing movements and cycles, a fundamental stage in the repair process. On the Thursday evening, Ballsystem offered participants a moment of entertainment, giving them the opportunity to watch the Perugia-Reggina football match, as Ballsystem Training is an official sponsor of Perugia.

The final day, which was also particularly intense, featured a presentation by Domenico Tammaro from Italservice in Cascina (PI), a long-standing Ballsystem GreenPartner, who shared his experience within the network and his pathway of growth following the adoption of the cold repair method. “I would like to thank Ballsystem and the Mottola family because, many years ago, they supported me and helped me to learn and believe in the cold repair method, which today represents a very significant part of the repair processes at my company. Taking part in the training sessions was fundamental, and I put my heart and soul into learning this method as soon as I returned home from the academy.”

A special thank you to Domenico Tammaro for his outstanding contribution, from Carlo Mottola (Technical Director and Director of the Ballsystem Academy): “Italservice is one of the finest examples of our network, our affiliation process and the sharing of the Ballsystem repair method. It is rewarding to see a GreenPartner sharing their journey with representatives of other GreenPartners, and my hope is that one day they will achieve the same results as Italservice, which today stands as a benchmark in the auto repair sector.” Domenico Tammaro personally supervised the work on the final day, together with the end-of-course evaluation.

As Bronze Sponsor of the event, Ballsystem took part in the Mission Restart initiative at the 4th Automotive Campus held in Imola on Thursday 14 October.

Fabio Marcucci, Sales Manager at Ballsystem, took part in the round-table discussion on changes in the car repair sector.

“In the current climate scenario, marked by a sharp increase in hail events, cold repair is becoming increasingly important, not only for managing and repairing hail damage, but also for its proven effectiveness with other types of damage, such as transport damage, parking damage and similar cases. This delivers both qualitative and economic benefits for all players in the supply chain, and above all for our customers. Not to mention the environmental sustainability aspect, as our method provides for zero solvent emissions into the atmosphere.”

Other distinguished guests were also present at the meeting: Marco Mosaici (Aftermarket Network Director at Arval Italia), Elisa Vannini (Researcher at the Connected Car & Mobility Observatory of the Polytechnic University of Milan), Roberto Sanvito (Regional Business Manager Europe South East Automotive Refinish Coatings Solutions at Basf Italia), and Christian Secondin (President of Auto 1980).
